Approach
The spaces we spend majority of our lives in affect our daily habits, our mental and physical health, and how we spend time with one another. At Studio GAMA, we believe surroundings should impact everyone in a very meaningful way. Investing in thoughtful design means investing in yourself. We approach all design challenges with comfort in mind and strive to create timeless interiors that reflect our clients’ unique personality and lifestyle.
Interior design does not have to be intimidating and we believe the design process should be enjoyable for everyone involved. We pride ourselves in making the design process stress-free for our clients and our team while manifesting warmth and intention throughout a space. Creativity and design is magic and we’ll remind you of this every step of the way.
Gabrielle Guidry, Founder and Lead Designer
Gabrielle was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Interior Design. Studio GAMA was formed out of a desire to create authentic spaces that evoke positive emotions and inspire confidence, creativity and community. One of the most important goals in every project, big or small, is to reduce waste, incorporate vintage and second-hand items, and source ethically produced furniture and objects.
Working With Us
What services does your studio offer?
Our services include full service interior design for residential and hospitality design, styling and consultations. Through our engaging design process and meticulous approach, we help our client’s manifest warmth and intention throughout their spaces.
How do you determine your design fees?
Because every project is different, our fees are based on hourly rates. After defining the scope of work, we estimate the amount of time it will take to execute the design based on our experience and past projects.
How do you typically begin a design project?
We have a client-centered design approach at the beginning of every project. After learning about your likes and aspirations, we align on your aesthetic goals, preliminary budget and timeline and define a clear scope of work. The beginning schematic design phase consists of site visits to take measurements and furniture inventory. Seeing a space in person is crucial to understanding context, views, daylight, layout and important details that make your space unique. From there we begin exploring a vision for your space through programming studies and space planning.
What does the inquiry process look like?
